Leave me a scenario (one of your own or choose from here) and include any particular preferences as well if you wish.
Or, if you want to just leave a comment with a picture or a word as a prompt and suggest which muse of mine you want, that works too! I might just be a bit slow with those.
Make a reply asking for anyone here on the subject title.
If you choose a character on the maybe list, I will definitely be slow with them.
If you know a specific "verse" of character you want, specify. If it's a cross-canon scene and you don't specify, you might get a CR AU.
Alternately, if you'd rather place a comment on the muse's contact post. Or if you want to do something a little more privately, let me know and I'll set something up elsewhere.
Go to the RNG if you don't have a specific scenario in mind.
Arthur shook his head in return to her sympathies, "You were only curious, it's alright."
A lot of the horrid things that rushed in his head died down as he started to get his bearings, thankfully he's trained himself over the years on how to deal with his episodes of stress. Then as Alaina went on, Arthur's brows raised curiously. Did she just offer help, as well as called him a friend? He hadn't many if any friends, there a shy blush that came to his cheek as he softly took in his breath, "O-Oh... Th-Thank you I-Y-You don't mind being friends with me? Really?"
Alaina is used to befriending unlikely types. This instance is really nothing out of the ordinary for her.
"I wouldn't have offered if I hadn't meant it," she tells him sincerely. "Friends help each other, right? You've already helped me. It's only fair that I help you."
A warmth came into Arthur's heart at that, he gave a small smile. He nodded as he gently held out his finger for her hand to shake. "Ofcourse... I-I'd be honored to be your friend, thank you. You can count on me for help any time for sure."
Alaina's lips curl upwards as she shakes his finger with both of her hands. "You've already done more than enough for me. But if I ever have another nightmare, you're welcome to work the same magic on it that you did tonight. I'll be sure to repay you."
Friends can be rare in Thedas. Alaina is happy to gain another one and another ally for the Inquisition.
"I should probably go back to bed before someone misses me. I'll see you again?"
Arthur nodded with a smile, he was just happy to have a friend. It was rare for a giant like him to even have one considering how intimidating his height can be for others. Then as she suggest that she should go back to go bed, "Oh yes ofcourse and-Ah here..."
Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a small stone, or at least small for him decent hand size for Alaina, it was a unique shade of pink and different looking that most quartz that could be seen on earth. He held it out for her, "If you need me just hold it and say my name and your location I'll hear it. And if I need you, you'll hear me as well."
At this point, Alaina has seen so much worse than a little height. This guy seems pretty nice and that's all that really matters to her.
Surprised, she accepts the stone graciously, turning it over in her hands to look at. It's very smooth and she likes the feel of it. "I may have to carry a bag around for it," she jokes, though her smile is warm with gratitude. "Thank you. I'll be sure to keep it with me and call you if I need you."
Tucking the stone into a pocket of her armor, she moves towards him. It'll have to be kind of awkward given their size difference, but she can try anyway. What it ends up being is her trying to hug his hand. Points for trying?
"And thanks for your help with my nightmare. You've been a great friend already."
Arthur chuckled with her, funny how small things to him can still be big for human sized folks. He nodded as he gave a warm smile, holding out his finger to hold her hand in a friendly shake, "Oh it's no problem at all, I-I'm glad to be of service... Give me a call and I'll be there for you, my dear friend Alaina."
"I will. You take care now, Arthur," Alaina tells him firmly. With one last smile and a hand in her pocket to make sure the stone is safe, she turns to head back towards bed. Maybe this time she'll sleep better than she had previously.
